"Born to Run" photographer tells stories with images
Eric Meola ’68, who shot the iconic cover of Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run album, has been telling stories with his photography for nearly five decades. This slideshow contains some of Meola's best-known work, along with his own commentary. Included are two rare images of jazz pianist David Brubeck that Meola shot as a student for The Daily Orange (his first paid assignment), and have not been seen in 47 years. They arguably prefigure Born to Run.
